Our 4th meet-up has been moved to join SDForum's Cloud Services SIG TOMORROW:
Tues 28th, the Cloud Services SIG (link) is fortunate to have Andrew Shafer of CloudScaling give no-holds barred talk about the new OpenStack
cloud management software. As you may know, CloudScaling was founded by
Randy Bias, who helped create GoGrid's cloud and is now building cloud
computing infrastructure for major telecom providers all over the world.
They are putting their weight behind OpenStack and we will benefit
greatly from hearing about their experience
About OpenStack: OpenStack is cloud computing (IaaS)
operating software project by Rackspace Cloud and NASA. It will have
Open Virtualization Format (OVF) support and will be supported by
companies such as Citrix Systems, Dell, enStratus, NTT Data, PEER1,
RightScale, Cloudkick, Zenoss, Limelight, enStratus, Scalr, AMD, Intel,
and Spiceworks. It is free open source software released under the
terms of the Apache License. Bring your questions!
